Hey guys

Yesterday afternoon I was late for a meeting in Midrand. I thought: I am here with the bike, I will make it from Bryanston to Midrand in 15 minutes. Well when I got on my bike, it would not start. Well no meeting for me.

Well after a while I found out that it was the battery. My brother in law came to my rescue and we jump start the bike.

ok so the battery was fine yesterday morning and Yesterday afternoon it was totally dead.

We took the bike to his place and also discovered some grease in the front sprocket cover and a lot on the shock behind the sprocket.

1.  Is there any suppliers on WD that can help me with a battery for my Dakar?
2.  I replaced my chain and both sprockets 3 weeks ago. Could the grease be from when they replaced the sprockets or could it be that there is something else wrong like a bearing or something. My knowledge on bikes is not existing. I bought the bike in 30 June.
3. What is the fuel consumption suppose to be. I read on Wilddog Economy Run that blazes got 32 km/l and I get an avg of 23 km/l. https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=23219.0

thanks for your help wilddogs
