So I took the plunge and traded my 800 for a very nice 2012 1200gs... (Awesome service from bavarian mc in centurio :thumleft
. Now I have a few questions for the experienced 1200 dogs:
1) Suspension on the 1200 seem alot softer than on the 800. Should I just get use to it or are there mods to be made? Will it bottom out easily and break stuff? I used to ride like a hooligan over speed bumps with the 800, can I still do that? :eek7:
2) My wife is sitting quite high as a pillion in comparison to the 800 and is complaining about the wind, any advice? I must say, I am a lot more comfortable on the bike when having a pillion. Seat is much more comfortable than the 800.
3) I was becoming more comfortable in the technical off road stuff with my 800, how long does it take to adapt to the 1200?
Ooooh and I love the power increase, 1200 just puts a grin on my face each time I twist the throttle!
