new GPS old software....WTF......

I just received my new 62s, I was using a 60csx with garmap Africa series 2010. The garmap is loaded on my laptop but the new gps doesnt want to accept any of the info from the 2010 sofrware, it doesnt pic the new gps up or want to take the access code. The salesman said I could only load it to one gps and will have to buy a new copy of the 2010 garmap series. Is this true? Can Garmap only be loaded once for a specific model? :-\
