I have reached that stage where I need to get a new hat...
I can't afford the R3000.00 that seems to be about the cheapest in the style that I like ( visor and peak), because both my cars shat their engines out... one oil pump failure and one overheat. The two engines are gonna cost about R40k to sort, but that's another story :-[
I've been wearing a Zeus Demon for the last 6 years and have enjoyed it; it's comfortable, doesn't have too much wind noise, and has a deep jaw piece that covers my dropped chin
I walked into a bike shop today and saw a new Demon, in my size... in fact the same colour as well... for R1150.00. The salesman says it's been on the shelf for about 3 to 4 years. He has about 4 Zeus' left at that price.
What sayeth the Dogs... yes or no?. Would this hat have become "unsafe" just by sitting on the shelf?
