Hi Guys

I've been riding bikes forever, having gone from DT50, DT250, XT500, DR500, F650, 800GS, Africa Twin and now BMW 1200 GS Adventure over the last 25 years - As you can see I went bigger and bigger, but am now about as big as I can get and still play on the dirt.

I've always enjoyed working on my bikes as much as riding them, and have a great history of over capitalising on project bikes, and making someone very happy when I've done everything I can possibly to them and they get them for a fraction of what I spent.

Despite the GS having pretty much every conceivable bell and whistle as standard, I have still managed to find some things to do i.e. headlight protector, change the colour (white was boring), top box, GPS set up, decent set of hooters. Future projects I'm planning - voltage meter, tyre pressure monitors and the big one, change the front end to 21".

I'm in the Western Cape - Cape Town.
