Umm, Google is not my friend... this is my first GPS, I'm clueless as to what accessories & cables I need.
Bought a Nuvi 710 from a Dog, only connection accessory that came with it is a USB cable that plugs into a computer. (Battery is at the end of its life, I see new replacement batteries on ebay sell for about R800, correct?)
Question: is there an existing thread or "ready-made package" to purchase to do the wiring on my Dakkie? Obviously need to get from 12V down to 5,5V ???
PS - I'm technically challenged, can tell which way round to operate a screwdriver & that's about it, so simple explanation it'll have to be please...
