So when the Mpumalanga Heritage Interest Group / Mpumalanga Erfenis Belangegroep posted a trip to Carolina to go see some Old Tractors, I thought why not join them with the bike. At least for the first part.
So after over sleeping and as per usual not getting all the small things done the previous night, the trusty Pig made good time to the rendezvous point out side Carolina.
No fear of being late, as the main convoy was delayed for a rest stop in Machado dorp for the girls. Spend some time shooting the breeze with two old geezers from Barberton. What a wake up call.
On the next outing will have to sit and get Peter talking about his trip up Sani on to Maseru with a150 cc scooter in the early 50. It only took them a mere 10 days and that nogal 2 up? At nearly 80 he is planning to do the Duzi next year in a K2 canoe.
Eventually arrived at our first stop, given some of the gems on display, we were ask to keep the location on the hush.
