Oil Filter Thread Stripped - WTF Now??

Ek het kak.

The thread of my XT's oil filter is stripped (the thread going into the block), I just noticed it this morning, it leaked a bit there, when I tightened I felt the thread is stripped.

When I took out the (allen key) skroefie there were also some metal shavings on it, so the thread is definitely stripped. I tried a washer, hoping the thread will "bite", but no success.

......WDF now??
