so ive mentioned on another topic i can get this KDX 250 for a good price. needs some repairs, but all do-able.
BUT
i need opinions.
i can also get a DR200 for a reasonable price.
so lets move the money factor out the way, as both will pretty much work out the same.
i need the DO's and DONT's
Pro's and cons
i like racing through the farms, but also a little less spirited rides with the fiance (she plots along with the TS125) so we realy not going that fast.
id like to attempt SANI PASS, and a few more outrides. but the XT250 is unfortunately not reliable enough at this time, and i cant get it running properly. (carb issues)
so i have options.
get the DR200, ride that untill the XT is sorted (also running out of ideas there), and then let the SWAMBO ride the DR and ill get back on the XT.
OR
get the KDX. ride it and let her stay on the TS125. and sell the XT250.
the KDX has proper suspension etc, so would be better suited for my lonesome play in the bush. but will it be suited to say do a trip of 400km? or Sani Pass?
