What's some of the daftest passwords you've seen people use at home or at the office?

I needed a password eight characters long so I picked:
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"

Since I have been using online passwords since 1980 or so, some....er...TIME has elapsed, and in that time, the following stuff-ups seem to have happened...

1. my FIRST passwords did not need to be EIGHT characters minimum, so I used my 1st dogs FIVE LETTER NAME...
2. then, you had to use EIGHT letters, so I used 8 letters...
3. the, the f2ckers wanted a NUMBER, so I included a number...
4. then, the [email protected] wanted me to use a CAPITAL letter, so that needed to be remembered, too...
5. the, the [email protected] seemingly wanted a CHARACTER, so I confused myself, using mostly #, but occasionally $...
6. the, I feel the fuckers wanted say TWO characters, and a 'back-flip'...

Now, me getting the passwords correct is a VERY hit & miss affair!!!

I have an awesomely easy (to remember) recipe I use for generating passwords for me,as ours also have to be renewed quite often (and cannot match last4, etc). But obviously, I cannot share that here.

I'll send it to you via PM. To make sure you understand it, I'll include my credit card number, expiry date and CVV code as they are integral to my algorithm. ;)

MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDewyDonaldGoofySacramento

When asked about this, the blond women rolled her eyes and said HELLO It has to be at least 8 characters and include one capital

Production DB server SA password was "8characters".
Someone used the QA server to play League of Legends by opening the LoL port through the firewall and DMZ.

No worries, both situations does not exist anymore. The admin team has 1 less headcount.

Used to do this at work till they blocked the word' password'.
Then I switched to the first word I saw when I had to choose. (name of a security provider on the windows startup screen)

Now our company want something much much longer and three words.
So my password became 'StupidLongPassword01'

When 'password' was blocked it swopped with 'pattern'

Personal passwords I remember on the time line as when I subscribed to that page/forum. Which determines if I first added a capital letter, then letters, then unique characters.

I believe in keeping it simple.

I agree that it has become stupid, especially on multiple devices, Google seems best, store your passwords there, got a report the other day, showing all the same passwords and leaked ones etc etc.

I have hundreds of passwords on various websites spanning my IT career
I use Keepass. I need to remember only 1 password.. the Keepass one

The tool generates complex passwords for you that you copy and paste into login screens
