I bought myself a pair of X-Kulcha Dakar pants a while back as they were the only brand I could find that offered a short version of pants (I am kinda built like an orangutang) . I gained some weight (blame it on the thyroid...) and these are now about a size too small. They were worn about three times and still look new.
I have tried on several other brands lately (quite fancy the DMD Octane), but when the pants eventually fit around the waist, the knee pads sits way too low - like two inches below my knees.
No one seems to make a pant where the pads are over my knees - not remotely. Can the X-Kulchas be widened by fitting some sort of elastic and if so, where can I have this done in Cape Town Northern Suburbs area?
Thanks
