After another frustrating morning at the bank, we did manage to transfer all available funds to Robin. Let's hold thumbs that the forex system works.

R 51 400 transferred.

Other business

Due to the fact that the current PAW account is a club account, we need all original signatories at the bank to arrange online access and/or close the account. The trustees present this morning made a collective decision to close the current PAW setup and start again.
For this reason, we transferred all available funds, just leaving enough to cover the bank charges of the transfer and the bank can then close the account due to inactivity at their leisure. Their is no exposure for the current committee members as the account does not incur bank monthly charges. This is the easiest way to close the account. :biggrin:

The current trustees of PAW stand down in it's entirety and all business of PAW "Club" are hereby concluded.


New Setup


The PAW project will go ahead under a new dispensation.  :thumleft:

We will register a new section 21 company within the 2 next months and depending on CIPRO approval, register PAW as it's trade name. Otherwise we will have to come up with a new name. We will ensure that corporate and administrative setup will provide complete transparency but at the same time also provide ease of administration and corporate governance. Administratively it will also be easier to run although a bit more expensive ito of corporate governance but we already have plans to negate this.

For this we need 7 people to become members in the new section 21 company.

Currently we have the following volunteers:

JourneyMan
Motsumi (Just bIke & Tyre)
Gryshond
Pielas

We would prefer Pretoria/Midrand/Jhb members for initial registration of the company and signatory purposes.

Thereafter we will elect a board of directors. The directors need not be one of the original members of the company and can be from anywhere in SA (or the world). I will ensure that corporate issues such as quorums for meetings, AGM's etc. are handled in the articles of association in order to make that side of the business as smooth as possible as well.

Enough corporate shite now. I'm talking myself deur mekaar. :biggrin:

Let's hear your idea's. We still need a driver/s but we think a board of directors dispersed across SA, can do the job in the meantime (or count as drivers??).  8)
