Hi everyone
Quick question - I am buying 2 new jackets soon - 1 "adv" style jacket to replace my Assault, and then a second one for more everyday/summer riding. I have a choice of buying a 1.2mm thick cowhide leather jacket - perforated on the chest area with 2 vents in the back - or a full mesh jacket.
Now, I'm pretty sure the mesh jacket will be much cooler, but my question is - how much cooler? and how hot will the leather really be, especially since i ride the highway every day?
Then again, I am leaning towards the mesh because, on hotter weekends, even though the "adv" jacket is well vented, it's nice to wear something mesh when riding slower more technical stuff (less sweat).
I dunno, any advice?
