Had to wait for a few weeks and travel out of town to Orkney to find a decently prized late-model, low-milage V-Stront. Sommer gave me an opportunity to have a kuier with my boet who stays in the vicinity.
2009 model with 15 000km on the clock. Love the colour - same as my Versys :thumleft:
Was replacing the bakkie's front discs yesterday, so decided to also have a quick look under the plastics and tank at coolant and filter condition before doing any real riding. Found clean and new coolant, relatively clean filter and very clean airbox which confirms that the bike is in real good condition and have been used only on tar.
It has only done 2000 odd km's in last two years so might have to consider buying a new battery at some stage.
Have a few ideas of what I want to do with it accessory-wise, but there is no rush.
