I started to fiddle with my Yellow 1150GS, bought two years ago, soon after buying it.
To date I:
1. Fitted an 1150 GSA screen
2. Fitted crashbars
3. Fitted knobblies
4. Widened the foot pegs
5. Raised the handlebars
On the longer trips (through Baviaans, Kalahari and Namibia) fuel range was something that needed to be managed well and I started to wonder about the possibilities of an Adventure 33l tank.
A few weeks ago I managed to source an Adventure tank, but now had to decide how the spray it to fit with the rest of my 1150GS colour scheme. I saw what Jacko and some other WDs did in this regard to give me ideas.
I decided to mix and match themes from the two original 1150s, as well as borrow from the 1200GS.
