Greetings all.

I am sorting my KTM400 before its inevitable sale (dont use her anymore) and have a problem with an "off idle stumble" that I hope somebody can assist me with.

History.
She stood for about a year as I was/am using my 2 smoke for plastic bike kicks. When I parked her up, she ran like a dream. Pulled from low down like a tractor and could sit at 130+ kph all day.
It has a recluse clutch fitted too.
This bike is renowned for being strong and not at all tempremental.

Then I went to to the roof this year to spectate and ride and she was used by a friend over that long weekend. He complained that it would not idle. We stripped and cleaned the carb, which was VERY dirty and she then idled fine and did the rest of the trip well on part and full throttle. Except that is just as you roll on the throtlle from shut throttle position, there is a big hesitation as if its running out of fuel (lean) i.e flat spot. I suspected the accelerator pump circuit and restripped and checked that. The diaphragm is fine, no blockages and when the float bowl is full, u can hear it spray when u actuate the throttle.
Thinking the recluse might be sticky, I stripped that and all is good, in fact, its like new and no signs of grabbing or hangining up in the clutch basket shich it kind feels like its doing.
I reset the air screw to be as per manual (cant recall off the top of my head what that was, think its 2 turns out).

Valves have been set, spark plug is good, its had a few tanks of new fuel, it starts easy peasy..

HELP!!
