Im new to this forum and really hope somebody can help me Huh? Huh?
I recently inherited a 1983 Yamaha XT600 TT electric start for a project bike. The bike is pritty much complete but needs to be assembled.
The challenge Im facing now is that the engine is missing a few parts- crank, piston barrel, sleeve and piston, that i know of for now.
Im looking at maybe putting in a newer model engine as parts will be easier to find in the future.
Can anybody maybe suggest what will be the best way of going about this, and what engine will fit?
Im based in Pretoria, if anybody has the parts i need, or a newer engine please contact me [email protected]
Any advise or solutions will be greatly appreciated as Im dying to get this baby on the road ASAP!!
