Yet another guy from PE, I've been browsing, with awe, the "Angola, it's not like they said" trip report thread... incredible. I'd have to rate myself as a city slicker after seeing that... incredible.
I have to say that we have some lovely riding country within easy distance of the city. I have big heavy '99 R1100GS and have managed to explore a small bit of what is available. I'm here to gain knowledge of the area I play in and share what little I have experienced of it myself.
Unfortunately my last bit of experience was not something I'd like to anyone else to try. This is a pic of me examining the offending part of my machine... or rather the empty space that it occupied shortly before
