Just before last weekends LDBA event I desperately needed new boots so i bought an awesome pair of the new Alpinestars Tech 7. Comfy like a slipper and fairly light but in the rush I ignored the fact that they are too big for me.
I did the usual and bought them a size bigger for comfort and it turns out they are just too big! I can ratchet them down so they are secure but then they push over my arch a bit...not ideal.
So i'm going to sell them and buy another pair just the same in the correct size this time.
They have been worn at LDBA only, possibly 220km's of light dual sporting. I wiped them down with a wet cloth last night (no soap needed) and this is what they look like. They even still have the new boot smell, seriously!
