:dousing: ??? ???
I, along with quite a few friends are using the Starcom Digital Comms unit, which works really Gr8 & we're all very happy with the system. The problem that I have, is that when using the Zartek Pro 8 Radio with the unit, to give Bike 2 Bike Comms,..... the available range is only in the vicinity of 75-100m!! :dousing:
These little radios are really Gr8 units & give surprisingly Good range of comms,... when used as normal hand held units. We have tested this range in various built up areas, as well as open/unobstructed areas & they really perform Gr8. No problems @ all. Even when they're plugged into the Starcom Digital Comms unit,... they function without a hitch.
The problem is as soon as the bikes engine is running,... then the range is drastically brought right down to a mere 75-100m.
Everything has been installed in the correct/prescribed manner,... all connections have been checked.
Anybody else out there experiencing the same or similar problems???,... any advice or suggestions will be appreciated. :thumleft:
