The 1150 (having prolems posting so if you see multiples do not worry) has an issue with the Left Hand Side Cam Chain Tensioner, they are hydraulic / spring assisted, they rattle like hell when hot, mine was like a loose tappet so a quick internet search and found it in the UK at Motor Works at a lot less than here straight from BMW, so a quick mail and we had....


The other bits I will cover seperately, but the contents were, top right the cam tensioner parts 2 piece no spring, new grips and some jump start kits..

First step is to remove the electrical connections to the injectors, loosen the two inlet tube hose clamps and push the inlet tube back into the airbox, leave the clamp at the front of the throttle body. Unbolt the injector clamp and its spring clip and pull out the injector as shown.
