Good Morning Fellow WildDogs,
I am experiencing a problem where my bike (R1150GSA) struggles to start (especially) in the mornings. Only after the 10th attempt does she start up. I suspect it to be the starter motor. After pressing the starter button, the motor spins followed by a "clunking sound"
Took the bike for it's 60 000km service and informed BMW to check the problem. They indicated that they will grease and clean the motor.
After a week i contacted them again and they told me that they do not have the required spares and that i need to purchase a new starter motor. I am not technically inclined and need some advice on my options!
