My normal route would be N3 to Villiers and then Frankfort - Tweeling - Reitz , Bethlehem and on to Clarence . Did a bit of homework and the distance from Alberton to Reitz via N3 or Sasolburg is exacly the same 205 kms . Just need to find out what the raod is like? I know the bit from Frankfort to Reitz is in poor state with lots of potholes . but can be run at a fair pace . if the Sasolburg rout is in better condition it could make for a nice change and no toll fee .
