I am looking at doing a ride from Randburg/ Randpark to Parys will be on tar and dirt roads, estimate about 150km to Parys(can't hold me to that) dirt is good dirt roads, nothing too tricky, if it is not wet.Then brunch in Parys followed by a loop through the crater, perhaps another 80 km or so, then back on tar, after a cold drink stop back in Parys.
I did this a month or two ago though not in one day, so it will be a long day but not technical, just nice to get out. Plan to use most of the day, depending on the stop durations.
I am on a Tiger 800 xc, with 50/50 tyres. The aim will be to not go fast at all, a relaxed ride and pace, so if you love to ride to the max you may be bored.
