Hi Guys,
I am busy going through my bike to see what needs attention and what is functioning correctly.
I did a compression test on both cylinders. On the front cylinder I removed the right hand spark plug, insirted the compression tester and turned the motor over. The reading was 15 bar. On the rear cylinder I removed the left hand spark plug, inserted the testing tool and turned the motor over. The reading on the rear cylinder was 12 bar.
The manual states that the level should be between 11 and 15 bar. Does this mean mine is within spec, or is the difference between the 2 cylinders an indication of any additional issues?
Also We then squirted a bit of oil into both cylinders and the front one built even more pressure and the rear one, stayed the same. Is this an indication of a valve issue?
Thanks
