I currently have a 2007 DL1000Vstrom
it has a lot of black plastic all around the bike
I wanna re-blacken those plastic bits without actually painting them
I saw my wife coming home with black liquid shoe polish for my daughter's school shoes and I started wondering if I should make a mixture of that black shit and some water soluble silicon that I have lying around....?
haven't tried it yet - but logic dictates that mixture should work well on black plastics....
unless I'm pissing into a strong wind now
any reason that mixture wouldn't work?
what have you guys done to shine up your old plastics?
