Ahooi dogs!
I have to replace my rear tyre in about 1000km. Want to do it next Saturday. Which means a lekker ride this Saturday.
If anybody want to come along, this is my route.
1) Leave in the parking area across from Doodles, Blaawberg at 06:00.
2) Tar/Dirt road to Hopefield. Breakfeast somewhere along the route.
3)Dirt road to Clanwilliam. Lunch/beer.
4)Dirt via Algeria to Op-die-berg then Ceres..
5)Tar/dirt to Table View.
Distance: about 500 - 600km
Road conditions: Tar,good gravel,bad gravel with stones, sandy gravel, river crossings here and there.
Speed: Will have to drive moderately fast to be able to do it in one day.
Riders: Medium to Well-done ;D Capability.
About the ride: If at any time a rider is gatvol, its a short hop to the N7. We will basically be parralleling the N7. If we reach clanwilliam with not enough time to reach Ceres, we return via N7. ;D
