I just had a phone call from a Riding buddy and friend of mine. Him and his wife were riding up Sir Lowreys Pass in the Left hand lane this morning when they went through an diesel spill while in a turn. The rear wheel spun out and they came off. He seems to be Ok, but his wife , Suzette broke an arm and may have back injuries after hitting a barrier on the side of the road.
He rode the Varadero to hospital behind the ambulance.
Please guys be carefull. I have seen numerous diesel spills in the Somerset West area lately.
