Topic for general discussion:

There are a number of parks through Africa where you are allowed to ride through on your bike. I see that SA has some as well but none with animals in, only blommetjies and fish etc:

Agulhas National Park â?? Motorcycle friendly
Golden Gate Highlands National Park â?? Motorcycle friendly
Karoo National Park â?? Motorcycles allowed after prior arrangement

Namaqua National Park â?? Motorcycles allowed on all public roads

It was an amazing experience to ride through Mukuni NP in Tanzania and stop 15m away from a herd of elephant, then a few km further 50m away from a large herb of buffalo and they didn't even bat an eyelid. They just kept on doing what they did. Doubt it will ever happen in the Addo or Kruger...

Fair enough they wont be able to allow groups on mass as, knowing how SA bikers like their speed, this just wont work as they will terrify every animal for miles but maybe they should think of doing guided tours of no more than 5ppl at a time...
