riding to some place warmer right now than the freestate...any ideas?

we want to take tents and camp on a one nighter in preparation for a longer trip....thought vaalwater or groblersdal might be a direction....any one with another direction that would be fun to ride?...needs to be warmer than going south into the freestate.....brrrr.....would love some inspirational thoughts on this...oh, it needs to be a chilled ride...
