I witnessed a terrible road rage fight this AM on Sandton dr.

I was waiting at the robot on Grayston dr at the T-junction with Sandton dr.  And then I saw what appeared to be a car (BMW 3 series) cutting off a Motorcycle (F650GS) before stopping at the red light on the other side of the intersection.  The biker seemed to be caught by surprise, as I heard his wheels locking up while he swerved quickly to avoid the car.

Then the rider who was now standing on the left side of the car started to hit the car's passenger window repeately and very violently.  The car driver opened the passenger window, and it looked like they were arguing with lots of anger.

Suddenly the car driver got out of his vehicle, and started hitting the biker's face with his fist.  The biker had his visor open.  And it looked like the rider could not do anything as he did not got out of his bike, so he was stuck while the other guy was hitting him so badly on his face.

I just rode off because I could not figure out who was in fault.  And what could I do anyway?

I think that this kind of story is a reminder that one doesn't achieve anything at getting angry with cagers, no matter how bad they drive.  And also that we should be aware of people who are prone to road rage.
