Took Sharks advice on the route from E-Cape up to Ramabanta last week to watch the Roof-wow what a trip, myself and 5 others left Grahamstown last Wed,travelled up through Ludeans Nek ,along the Tulle river and up to the lodge at Ramabanta(awesome spot).After riding myself in the Roof for the past 5 years,i must say that i was not impressed with the new organisation-although the rain did have major negative effect,there did not seem to be a contingency plan in place.As i say i never participated myself,so this is merely an outsiders opinion.I would like to get a competitors angle-and anybody who was out there on Friday in the torrential rain-respect guys.We still had an absolute blast and got some cool pics which my limited I.T kop will attempt to post.
