Trying to figure out best options for a trip down to the sea , August long weekend , we have done the SOUTH COAST , EASTERN FREESTATE and now think a trip to the NORTH COAST is a option , we have accommodation in BALITO .
Want to stay of the main highway as much as possible , and want to leave on the Thursday afternoon , ride to a overnight stop and next morning down to Balito . As I have never travelled Zululand I have no idea of what the roads are like .
Lets start at the beginning , on the Thursday ride to a overnight stop in VOLKSRUST /NEWCASLE . Then on Friday take the back road via DUNDEE - GREYTOWN - BALITO or go more east and go DUNDEE -THUNLETHU - ESHOWE - BALITO
Want to know with of the option or other option is the best , ALL TAR , but with rider road , so corners , mountain road , passes if available . From maps it looks like some parts are heavily populated by rural standards .
will spend 1.5 days in BALITO and head back Sunday , route options is BALITO -KWADUKZA - GREYTOWN -MOOI RIVER - BERVILLE - CLARENCE - HOME
Yes home ward is a long ride , but also a adventure .
