Anyone have experience with sacrificial anodes on a bike (and possibly trailer) ?
For the Durban project I am on I have rented a small garden cottage which is an easy 9-iron from the beach near Virginia Airport.
Corrosion is a serious problem so close to the beach, and although the bike is under cover there are signs of rust on exposed metal such as sprockets, brake disks, spokes and scratches on crash bars.
I was wondering if a sacrificial anode could be attached to the bike to slow down the rusting a bit ?
Feasible? Anyone done it ?
