Good news, finally!
I have managed to find a way to get the sealed steering head bearings to fit all BMW 650cc single cylinder bikes (except the F650F and ST 1994 - 1999).
I can special order them directly from the factory in Nippon. Top japanese quality.
Advantage: They have an integrated shaft seal to keep water and dust out. Their service life will be at the very least 50,000km whilst the OEM bearings rarely make it past the 20,000km mark and often get notchy much earlier.
Disadvantage:
I have to pay on order, I have to order a min. of ten bearings at a time (five sets) and they are not cheap. Delivery ten to 14 days.
I just want to see if there is sufficient interest.
