Should older posts be locked?

Ok so some MOD ban me for a year because I'm asking that abut 31 pages of newbie intro's should be locked,  :imaposer: 
but I see every now and again someone ressurects a bunch of old posts from this board. Should posts older than say 3 months not perhaps be locked to prevent that from happening?
