Sicily in October

Me and my better half want to tour Sicily on a rental bike for a week in October.  Any advice regarding a reputable and reasonably priced bike rental company would be appreciated.  There are few on the Internet, but we have burnt our fingers with a travel agent in India, and would rather like to have a WD reference if possible.  Any general tips also welcome.
