Simple gravel/off-road routes near CT

Hi

Had my dakar about a month now - and really getting the hang of her.
Actually just named it Rogue.

I'm looking for a couple of gravel routes (one day trips) near CT.
So anywhere in the winelands or a bit beyond would be great.

I don't have a GPS so please don't get too technical with coordinates.
(Oh yeah - where can I buy a map that shows gravel roads?)

I'm looking for scenic rides - nothing too difficult - as I am a newbie - and will probably be doing these rides solo.
