Smoking KLR

So yesterday i started noticing that my KLR smokes a lot, it now has 12k kms on the clock, this should not be im sure. One guy here at work asked me this morning if i have a 2 stroke

Does anyone know if there is a km limit on the warantee or issit 12 months unlimited kms?
