Having done a bit of riding around Jozey and Slaapstad, I must confess I get quite kick out of the traffic because although people drive in the middle of their lanes when they are not switching lanes. They also drive fast and turn unpredictably which makes it pretty dangerous. But its a piece of cake to go lane splitting in compared to what I have to put up with in Lima. So far I have only had one car drive over my foot.
Over here, everyone drives wherever they want to go, its normal to be cut off everywhere, and have people pulling out in front of you whether you have right of way or not. Its every man for himself and be damned the rest. No point in getting mad, there are too many of them. So I thought I would show you what a jaunt into town looks like for me. Not quite as thrilling as off road riding, but close enough.
