The time has come to sell my trusty steed (The Black_Hawk).
I've owned this bike from February 2013 and we had many adventures and good memories for the past 90 000km.
The bike was used for what it was intended to do, so please don't expect an oil painting. The bike have just over 106 000km and and is still going strong. It have a full service history and was serviced by Jandre of JK Works for the past 8 years.
All electronics, ABS and heated grips are in a good working order.
The following extras / improvements / work were done to the bike:
- Excel front Rim
- After Market screen
- Headlight protector
- Barkbuster handguards
- 20mm Handlebar Raisers
- Wild@Heart 2-finger levers
- SW Motech crash bars
- Rear brake pedal extender
- 4.5mm Aluminum bash plate/sump protector
- Rear luggage plate with Trax bop box
- Fitted a WP front suspension from a 2016 F800GSA in 2017 (on 79 000km)
- Top triple clamp made of billet aluminum fitted on 79 000km
- Replaced chain and sprockets on 96 000km
- Rear shock refurbished
- Battery fitted on 97 000 km (Nov 2019)
- Mitas E07 Plus rear tyre was fitted on 98 600km
- Serviced on 102 000km
- Fit new Bridgestone BatteX AX41 front tyre on 102 000km
- Fitted exhaust of a 2017 model F800GS
- New rear brake pads on 104 000km
- Replaced stator and voltage regulator on 105 000km
Honesty Section:
- The bike is no oil painting and have some battle scars
- Side stand switch is bypassed
- Fuel gauge is faulty - works intermittedly. I work on my trip meter with a safe range of 250-280km (Like the older 650 and Dakar models)
- Engine uses a bit of oil, about 80-100ml every 1500km
- Floating brake discs was replaced with solid brake discs
