[EDIT] I have added some more pictures from all angles.  The small scratches on the back casing are just cosmetic and the unit is in 100% working order.  I did NOT crash; those are just where the unit rubbed against something on the one trip with my vibey XT660 thumper.

Also indicated by arrow on the one picture is where the thin MIC IN wire on the loom got pinched somewhere in my routing on the bike - something I only noticed when I removed the loom from the bike.  It is not something I ever used; in fact I don't even really know what it's for!
Anyway, I had that wire repaired at an electronics workshop and it is also working 100% again.
