Secondborn paid us a visit recently and took the scoot for a spin in our cul-de-sac. Unfortunately she ran out of talent on about the 4th lap. Just relieved she got off
fairly lightly although both she and the scoot have some roasties to show.
Unfortunately this has taken the shine off the bike for me and I’m now putting it up for sale
Besides the roasties, there are a few items requiring attention;
-seat needs to be recovered
-petrol must be pre-mixed as the oil pump doesn’t work (it’s still mounted in case it can be fixed)
-seat catch with lock needs to be mounted (I do have it loose)
It starts easily both push button and kick. New battery and rear tyre
Registered in my name and all electrics working fine
I’ve probably spent close to 9k on it but I reckon R3,000 is a fair price for a solid little scooter
