Did not think I would need to sell it soon or at all!
This bike belonged to IDR and I bought it thinking it will be a great addition alternative to my 1200GS for short runs. I unfortunately just took a job which will see me abroad for 2 years and can simply not have a bike stand for that amount of time. I do not have much time so it either goes or not. 29k not exactly negotiable as I will also put it through the test plus you get a new set of trailwing's front/rear.
It has been a lot of places with scuff marks to show for it, rear stickers were scuffed off due to using soft panniers without pannier racks
so is a 2008 model , now 39k km on the clock with the following:
Wilbers progressive springs out front
Wilbers fully adjustable shock out back
Raising linkage (Jules)
Rox vibration damped handlebar raisers
Zeta handguards
Fused Hella socket in fairing
SW-Motech crash bars (rubber mounted)
DR KLR bash plate
Happy Trails rear brake cylinder guard
IMS Fastway footpegs
Doohickey done (Groenie)
Kappa luggage racks
Magnetic low profile sump plug
It has a new Motobatt sealed battery
Recent (2000 km ago) full service including valve clearance check, new chain and sprockets, and steering head, swingarm, linkage and wheel bearings - with sealed bearings where possible.
Sealed wheelbearings all around
LeCap bolt kit (badly applied)
New steering, wheel, swingarm and linkage bearings all properly greased - sealed bearings used where possible
New longer choke cable, doesn't catch or pull due to the risers anymore
Full service including valve clearance and jetting 2000km ago
Magnetic low profile sump plug
Chain and sprocket done 2000km ago
Seat re-upholstered.
Has Dunlop D606 on which have 30% left, with Trailwings front/back not put on it yet, brand new.
It includes the oxford tail bag, extra heavy duty inner tubes, tyres levers etc.
