FOR SALE BY OWNER -1975 1977 Honda CB400 SuperSport (navy)
After looking at my reg papers I realised it is actually a 77 model. Sorry for the misunderstanding - for info. Offer in process but will confirm once deal is sealed.
• All papers in order
• Excellent original condition. No paintwork ever touched.
• Just had major service incl cleaning of carbs (bike was standing for a year), new original brake pads (from David silver Honda spares in the UK), air and oil filter, new plug cables.
• Low KMs – about 21200Km
• Always stored under cover in garage
I purchased the classic from my friend’s late father in 2009 as I grew up on a CB750F. I then immigrated to the UK in early 2010 and used it for a single road trip from East London to Cape Town where it was stored in a garage at my folks’ house. The bike was started weekly while I was away and I took it for outings in Cape Town on my return visits (about 400Km in total).
• Before the Cape Town trip new tyres were fitted – (NOTE - front tyre showing minor cracks now due to limited use so might need replacement soon)
• Full service carried out by Classic bike specialist include chain / sprockets / brakes
• About the only thing not original is the rear pipe (4 front pipes still original).
• I bought an original factory seat cover from Honda in the UK
• Original Service manuals, original toolkit incl
I have a DS bike (and small kids!) and not giving this one justice so although overall in excellent condition and sentimental for me the enthusiast will turn it to immaculate with very little effort or money and probably get more joy out of it than I can in the near future.
It is a one of kind collectable and lovely to ride.
