Wow, what an epic trip (y)

If you really have to do it solo:
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 5 or 6 bread bag clips
- 2 pairs of Crocs (slipper and boot type)
- 1x 43g Pritt glue stick
- Travel whistle for "stranger danger"
- Blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron and roller set - you never know...

Enjoy

Dis 'n hele storie op sy eie. Dis nou my plek waar ek die meeste serenity kry.

Oor jy so effe clueless voorgekom het!? LOL

I once saw a biker wear crocs. I can never do that to myself. I ride an old klapped out thumper but I do have some pride.

Its 998 km shortest way there. I've done this ride maybe 25 times in the past ten years. Once, early on, I did it four times in one year. It never grows old. My bikes know the way, but every time is ZEN.

Read somewhere trip from Gauteng to CPT in one day is the way.
This sounds like a morning affair.
Some years ago, when my 1150gsa was still a bike, I did the ride back home in a day. Ma se tekkie, I was klapped out. two days there and back is just a nice ride.

Going next week and need some help

- What will the weather be like. Should I take my hot blanket.
- Two or three days to get there ? How many smoke breaks should I plan for ?
- Tyre pressure.
- Best oil for the trip.
- Saddle bags or just a top bag.
- What tools should I take
- What kit.
- Should I go solo.
- What bike
- What boots

Any other suggestions are welcome. These trips are so difficult to plan maybe I should just stay at home. maybe the more experienced guys can help.
Moenie vergeet om te vra of jy moet staan en ry of sit nie.... :ROFLMAO:
