I currently ride dirtbikes and my old man rides adventure bikes. He currently has a GS 800.
I have just had a change in job, and I am now travelling roughly 160km per day to work and back.
I now have an opportunity to get into adventure riding (I have always wanted to) as I want to use an adventure bike for commute a few days a week but also get out on the weekends more.
I am a large guy and I wanted to ask the opinions around getting something like a KTM 1190 or a GS 1150, or something around this.
Any advice or thoughts would be great appreciated.
