It is actually pretty deep there , the sea bed has quite a steep drop off not far from the coastline

I presume it is one of ours , either doing night excercises or returned to the bay too late to dock , only Russian ships dock after dark .

You need night-sailing qualifications to be able to dock after dark.

The "guardtjie" cannot sit on the conning tower in the dark to shout out instructions.
