Been riding gravel roads since I was 16....... that was with a 50cc.
Bought a new'ish' Honda XL 500 S in 1981 and had it for 10 years. Many miles of smiles till the electrics drove me nuts. Later a Yamaha XT 550, was a bit tired but never let me down. Currently ride a '03 KTM 640 Adventure which I bought new.
On my first visit to a Cardiologist he said: "Jy het darem goed grondpad met jouself gery." Nearly fell off my chair. He didn'nt think it was so funny. Anyway, the heart's still ticking.
Other interests: photography; couple of drinks with mates.
