Good day people.
I bought a 2009 ktm 990 adventure about a month ago. Mileage is 26k kilos.
I realised it had a whabble on the steering but i thought its a unbalanced tyre.
Today i took it to adventure biketech in edenvale (awesome shop) to get some aftermarket slipons
fitted. I've told the guy working there about the whabble on the steer before
and today when he test drove the bike after the slipons were fitted he told me
"Bru that whabble isnt normal hey" (not that i expected it to be normal) but he made
it sound worse than i thought it was.
Description of the "whabble":
The steer start shaking when I go above 60 km/h and I cant even dare
to let go of the steer because then it will shake uncontrolably and I will "sien my gat".
Note that the whabble isnt that rough that i have to hold on for dear life, I can easily go to 160 km/h
it's just that I cant let go of the steer and that theres quite an irritating vibration on it.
So any advice on what it could be?
